Job description
Job Role: Computer Science (KS3, 4 & 5)
Location: Derby
Salary: £115 - £170
Start: September 2017

We are looking for a Computer Science teacher to join a fantastic school located in Derby. The Computer Science teaching post is a Full Time position on a Long term supply basis which could turn permanent role after 1 term for the right candidate.

This is a charming school in Derby. The school is going through an innovative period where changes are being made to improve all aspects of teaching and culture.

The school is a mixed school where the behaviour is rated as good. This is a fantastic opportunity to have great work life balance and be part of a project to leave a legacy after an innovative period.

The successful candidate will need the following;

- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or overseas trained.
- PGCE in ICT / Computer Science or degree level equivalent
- Experience in a secondary school within the last two years
- Excellent subject knowledge and passion for ICT
- Be a highly motivated individual, able to prepare, plan and deliver focused and stimulating lessons that inspire and keep pupils engaged.
- Proven experience in collaborating with colleagues
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure or Overseas Police Clearances

You must be an excellent classroom practitioner, who employs well-structured schemes of work to encourage all abilities to achieve fantastic results and build their skills base for life.
