Job description
My client, an Ofsted rated "Good" school in the Leicestershire area, are urgently seeking a teacher of Computer Science for the 2016/17 academic year.

The role will encompass all of the regular aspects of teaching a mainstream secondary school, so you will be expected to prepare schemes of work, mark, and also attend parents evenings. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to work in a Good school in order to raise standards and help to further cement their position in the local community. The school has high expectations for both their staff and students, but in return they offer excellent opportunities for professional development - many of the existing teachers have worked at the school for many years and have progressed steadily themselves over the years so there is clear scope for advancement. NQT's are also encouraged to apply.

To be successful for this role you must have:

•QTS and eligibility to work within the UK.

•Extensive subject knowledge.

•Strong interpersonal skills.

•Sound behaviour management.

•The passion and drive to help the school and its students at a pivotal time

Protocol Education are one of the UK's leading teaching agencies. Our commitment to our candidates is second to none, and we work tirelessly on behalf of our clients and candidates. As a member of team, you will enjoy the following benefits:

•A dedicated consultant that understands your requirements

•Industry leading rates of pay

•Regular (and free) CPD courses

•Expert career advice aimed at ensuring you can move freely within your career

For more information, or to discuss the above role, contact Leigh on 0116 285 1615 or send your CV to Leigh.edwards@protocol-education.com

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
