Job description
Job Role: Computer Science (KS3, 4 & 5)
Location: Lambeth,
Salary: £135 - £220 Per day
Start: September 2017

We are looking for a Computer Science teacher to join a fantastic school located in Lambeth, South London. The computer science teaching post is a full time position on a long term supply basis which could turn permanent after 1 term for the right candidate.

This is a charming academy in South London. The school is going through an innovative period where changes are being made to improve all aspect of teaching and culture.

The school is a mixed school where the behaviour is rated as good. This is a fantastic opportunity to have great work life balance and be part of a project to leave a legacy after an innovative period.

The successful candidate will need the following;

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or overseas trained.
• PGCE in ICT / Computer Science or degree level equivalent
• Experience teaching History KS3 - KS4
• Experience in a secondary school within the last two years
• Excellent subject knowledge and passion for ICT
• Be a highly motivated individual, able to prepare, plan and deliver focused and stimulating lessons that inspire and keep pupils engaged.
• Proven experience in collaborating with colleagues
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure or Overseas Police Clearances

You must be an excellent classroom practitioner, who employs well-structured schemes of work to encourage all abilities to achieve fantastic results and build their skills base for life.
