Job description
A local SEND setting is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated support assistants to work alongside their existing successful team. The role will require working with children with complex and often profound needs, catering for their academic, pastoral and personal care needs. The hours are part time, and accommodate assisting the children with their lunch, attending to their toileting and changing needs, and working within the hydrotherapy pool when required.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with children/young people with significant and complex needs
- Manual handling/hoist training
- Previous success working within a care capacity
- A desire to support the most vulnerable of learners

As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools.
