Protocol is seeking for learning support assistants/teaching assistants with British sign language (BSL) experience.

The chosen candidate will be required to help and support the development of hearing-impaired pupil within the school. you will be required to support academic studies, progress pupil's communication and social abilities within the classroom setting. Experience working with young adults or secondary age children preffered.

The position is full time to start in Sept 2020 Interviews are being held immediately for this role. My clients school is based near central Bristol with fanstastic commute links and free parking. Skills and qualifications required:

• Certified in British Sign language (BSL) level 2 or above
• Communicate with parents and carers
• Able to relay BSL from hearing impaired students to non-signing students or adults.
• Excellent strategic & communication skills, the ability to use initiative and that can work well under pressure.
• Positions are subject to an enhance disclosure barred service
