Protocol Education are currently recruiting teaching assistants located in Kingston or neighbouring boroughs to work in an outstanding school on a long-term basis. This particular school supports post 16 students with a variety of different needs that include autism, sensory overload, physical disabilities and complex needs. As a teaching assistant you will be working closely with the team developing students social understanding and teaching numeracy and literacy. In addition you will also be supporting students with life skills, vocational courses and recreational lessons.

  • Supporting students on a one to one basis
  • Developing numeracy, literacy and communication skills
  • Teaching life skills such as cooking, gardening, shopping
  • Developing self confidence and social interaction
