Job description

Do you have experience as a teaching assistant and would like to develop your experience within SEN?

Protocol Education is excited to be working with a Special School who focus on nurturing student talents and where each student is challenged to achieve their full potential.

The position requirements

Teaching Assistant experience with a Level 3 Qualification or similar

Ability to manage student behaviours effectively

Knowledge of SEN and different learning techniques that will encourage and develop students

Ability to promote students self esteem and reinforce positive attitudes.

Protocol are looking for enthusiastic, committed and determined individuals to work on a day to day basis and short and long term placements. Please call 0114 2521975 for more information on this role and other SEN roles throughout South Yorkshire.

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
