Job description
A Primary School on the outskirts of Leicester City has a long term job for a Classroom Support Assistant commencing in August 2017. The school caters for c360 pupils across KS1 and KS2 with a small provision for special educational needs.

The children enjoy engaging learning in unique surroundings which enable them to achieve their best in a supportive environment. As the classroom support assistant you will be involved in a broad range of activities across the school. You will assist the teacher in the planning and preparation of materials, displays and providing feedback on pupil progress. Your role will involve you supporting pupils with their learning and development ensuring that they stay on task and that they understand the work that is being delivered. You will have key involvement in the delivery of literacy and numeracy based topics and get involved in a range of activities throughout the school.

You will be a classroom support assistant that has experience working within an early years or primary setting. It is hoped that you have an understanding of the new national curriculum and have an understanding of phonics.

You will be rewarded with a long term job opportunity with great prospects for involvement and development within the broader school community. This a 5 day a week role with a strong possibility of a permanent contract being offered part way through the year.
