Are you looking for a rewarding role in education without needing a formal teaching qualification?
We're looking for Classroom Supervisors to step into schools and keep learning on track when teachers are absent. This is an unqualified classroom-based role, meaning you do not need a PGCE, QTS or any formal teaching qualification to apply.
Whether you've worked in schools, youth work, coaching, mentoring, care work, support roles, or any position involving children and young people, we'd love to hear from you.
As a Classroom Supervisor, you won't be planning lessons, assessing work, or delivering formal teaching. Instead, you'll supervise students as they complete pre-prepared work, maintain a positive learning environment, and ensure the school day runs smoothly.
Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered, and we can work around your availability.
Think confident classroom supervision and guidance, not formal teaching.
This is an unqualified role.
You do not need QTS, a PGCE, or any formal teaching qualification to apply.
We welcome applications from anyone with relevant experience working with children or young people and transferable skills that can support successful classroom supervision.
This role is an excellent stepping stone for anyone considering a future career in education. Equally, it is a rewarding role in its own right for those who enjoy variety, flexibility and making a positive difference in young people's lives.
We work with schools throughout Swindon, Wiltshire, Bristol, Bath, North East Somerset, Somerset, South Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. If this role is not advertised in your area, please still apply as we are likely to have similar opportunities nearby.
