Job description
Protocol Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic learning support assistants for one of our outstanding special needs schools for next term and the next academic year.

You will be working in KS3 and KS4 classes supporting the class teacher and students with autism. The school are looking for a teaching assistant to work 1:1 with students as well as with small groups. The role will also involve supervising the students outside of the classroom. This is a perfect role for someone that is looking for the chance to work in a new and challenging environment.

Experience with working with autism is beneficial but not mandatory.

The school are looking for individuals that are:

• Passionate about working in education
• Understanding of autism
• Patient and calm
• Able to adapt and adjust to work in a challenging setting
• Childcare experience

If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
