An Outstanding specialist school in the Borough of Hackney is looking to appoint a class teacher due to school expansion. The school caters to pupils aged 7 – 18 who have a statement of autism but are still working to mainstream curriculum. The school is well known within the borough of Hackney for it’s innovative approach to teaching and how successful their students are in both their academics and personal development.
For this role, you must hold QTS, you might even be newly qualified and ideally you will have experience of working with children with SEND needs and Autism. You must have a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively and effective primary/secondary teaching. You must be a passionate about engaging and motivating the pupils you are working with as you will be preparing them for life outside the classroom as well helping them achieve academically.
This is a full-time role with the view to become permanent for the right person. To be eligible you must be able to commit for an academic year and take on all class teacher responsibilities including writing reports, planning and marking. You will have access to a wide range of resources, PPA cover in your timetable and a team of specialised teaching assistants.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
