I work in partnership with a primary school in Chingford, Waltham Forest who are recruiting for a Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2020.

This is a two-form entry primary school serving an ethnically mixed community. There are 32 different languages spoken within the school and it continues to be an ofsted graded Good' school. The school also benefits from a resourced provision for deaf pupils. There are 24 designated mainstream places for pupils with hearing loss; these learners being supported by specialist staff both in the designated unit and in mainstream classes.

The school enjoys spacious grounds including a large playing field and a number of modern facilities such as an Computing suite, an iPad suite, and a newly refurbished children's library. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards and the school is fully networked.

To be considered for the role, you must have:

* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status ) OR equivalent qualifications
* Plan, prepare and assess lesson at KS1 in line with national curriculum
* That can progress the learning of all children within an inclusive learning environment
* Develop professional relationships with pupils and staff
* Ensure effective classroom management in line with schools behaviour policy
