Job description
Children's Residential Team Leader (Senior Support Worker) - IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS AVAILABLE

We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic, creative and hardworking. We would like to employ someone who has an understanding of safeguarding and understand the role. Candidates must not be judgmental or opinionated. We look for candidates who show a willing to learn and people that have an understanding of behaviour management.

The home is a children's home which can provide short, medium & long term care for young people aged up to 18 years of age.

Duties

No day is the same but you will: -
• Provide support and care to each individual
• Provide encouragement when getting ready for education
• Travel with the residents (Use of Company Car)
• Complete care planning
• Complete Task Sheets
• Complete Meal Preparation
• Organise and facilitate social activities
• Maintain the home (cleaning, laundry and shopping etc.)
• Maintain home management
• Liaise with external stakeholders and our own multi-disciplinary team

You will need the following skills/qualifications:
• A passion for working with children
• Level 3 Health and Social Care in children and young people is desirable not essential
• Experience working in a residential setting as a Senior on shift
• Motivated
• Passionate about care and support
• Excellent communication skills and a good team player
• Strong determination to succeed
• Hardworking
• Effective leadership and Management
• Teamwork
• Resilience
• Honesty
• A willingness to learn
