Job description
We are currently recruiting for a KS1 teacher to teach Year 1 in a Chesterfield based Primary School starting in September. The school is rated good by OFSTED and has a welcoming and supportive staff.

We are looking for a teacher who is wanting to work with enthusiastic and curious children, be part of a growing and vibrant team and continue their professional development.

Role Responsibilities:
• Plan and resource work for children in the class according to their needs and the curriculum.
• Assess the children against their personalised targets and milestones.
• Ensure the safety of all children in your care according to current safeguarding guidelines.

Person Specification
• Knowledge of the KS1 Primary Curriculum.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• A passion for working with KS1 children.
• Understanding of the foundation stage curriculum and transition.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• The ability to use your own initiative.
• Must be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
