Job description
Our client in Bristol is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Chemistry teacher to join their outstanding, forward thinking Science department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher to join an exciting place of work with a great support team. They are ideally looking for a teacher confident in teaching Chemistry up to A Level.

The ideal candidate will need the following;

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or overseas trained

- PGCE in Chemistry

- Able to teach up to key stage 5

- Able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that keep pupils engaged in class

- Be calm under pressure, able to handle responsibility and deliver engaging and effective lessons that enables all students to reach their full potential

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
