Job description
Chemestry Teacher required for a large 11 -18 school in North Northumberland. A requisite of the post is that you are able to teach from Key Stage 3 up to ‘A’ Level Chemestry.

The position is maternity cover, due to start in January 2017 until July. The post is Full time, candidates will work as part of a team and teachers are expected to play a full and active role in school life.

Successful candidates will have:

1. Will have a stimulating and engaging teaching style and personality

2. Clear objectives for all lessons covered

3. Effective behavioural management skills

4. Knowledge of current curriculum

5. Knowledge and understanding of specific subject matter

6. Work as part of a team and set an example to others through their professional knowledge and commitment to education

7. Develop strong rapport with both staff and students
