Protocol Education are currently recruiting candidates with experience of working in the care sector who are looking to apply their skills in one of our special needs schools located in Southwark to start immediately. This particular school caters for students aged from 3 to 19 years old, supporting students with special needs that include physical disabilities, severe learning difficulties, complex needs, autism and speech & language difficulties. As a teaching assistant you will be working with students on a one to one basis, support students with speech & language development, promote a positive learning experience and develop motor skills. Successful candidates must be passionate about having a positive impact on their wellbeing, learning & development. This role will be starting immediately and is a year long role with an option of extending.

Responsibilities:

• Support sensory development
• Adhere to the safeguarding policy
• Differentiate the work to meet the students needs
• Working one to one with students
• Working as part of a team
