Do you want to make a difference to children's lives? Can you care for others? If so this is the role for you!
A Health Care Assistant is required to support the nursing team in an "outstanding" Special needs school in Sevenoaks. The care assistants enable students with complex disabilities to engage with their normal day to day activities. This includes carrying out clinical interventions, recognising when a student becomes unwell and reporting to the registered nurses. Training in all the relevant skills will be provided.
There will also be an element of social care whereby you will be responsible for working alongside students in their bungalows and supporting the students in all aspects of daily living, including personal care.
Experience of complex physical and medical needs is desirable, however a person with the right attitude will also be considered for the role. A variety of day and nigh shifts are available!
