Job description
Protocol Education are working with a special needs school for young people aged 9-19. Many students have additional needs such as mild to moderate ASD, language impairment or emotional issues. We are looking for individuals who can provide practical and personal care for primary and secondary students. You will be offering support with daily routines and help implement individual lesson plans. If you're a kind and caring person, then this would be a perfect role for you.

This school is based in Chessington and is easily accessible by both train and bus or alternatively there is plenty of parking on site. As part of their team, you will be responsible for the progress and wellbeing of the pupil. You will be providing assistant for a student who have autism and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health).

At Protocol we can offer full time or part time flexible work.

The school are looking for individuals that are:

- Confident with the SEN code of practice
- Patient and calm
- Able to adapt and adjust to work in a challenging setting
- Committed to implementing the school's ethos and values
- Minimum 2 years of personal care
- Experience working with autism or challenging behaviour
