We are currently recruiting teaching assistants from care backgrounds who are looking to apply their skills in SEND education. This particular school caters to primary students with special needs such as autism, physical disabilities, speech and language difficulties and learning difficulties. As a care experience teaching assistant you will be working in a class of 6 - 8 students supporting sensory development, numeracy & literacy, teaching social awareness and assisting in interactive stories and sensory lessons such as music and art. This role is to start immediately and is a full time role. Whilst experience is desirable it isn't a requirement.

The role:
• Working one to one with students with special needs
• Working collaboratively with a team of professionals
• Developing sensory development and social awareness
• Assisting with physical development
• Supporting students in sensory lessons such as art and music

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
