Job description
We are working with a specialist residential school, who offer flexible education and care for up to 52 weeks per year, for people aged 11 to 19. The people they support have complex needs including behaviour that may be challenging and a learning disability, often in association with autism.

Supporting people with autism and complex needs with their daily routines and helping them access new experiences are the little things that you can do to make a difference.

Your role of Residential Learning Support Assistant is a dual role based in the classroom and also in the Home to support and assist our pupils in all aspects of their daily lives. The role also includes some personal care.
You will be required to hold a Level 3 in Child Care (or equivalent)
You will be required to have a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one and give details of 2 reference to cover the past 3 years including your most recent employer.
