Job description
A Leicester based secondary school has long term need for a Business Studies Teacher to work with them from after Easter 2018 to the end of May 2018 (initially), there may be an opportunity for the position to become permanent at the end of the assignment. The school caters for c1200 pupils aged between 11-19.

As the Business Studies Teacher you will deliver Business/Economics/Accountancy to KS4 & KS5 with having vocational experience too. You will work closely with subject leaders to devise lessons that engage and challenge pupils to make good progress in all areas. You will be asked to create a classroom environment that keeps pupils occupied and on task. A creative and animated approach to teaching is one that would be well received thus enhancing student's capacity to learn and produce positive results.

Applications are welcomed from QTS and NQT Business Studies Teachers that have the capacity and energy to help students exceed expectations. It is hoped that in addition to the broader Business Studies curriculum knowledge that will have the expertise required to maintain learner interest and ensure that behaviour policies are adhered to.

You will have a huge opportunity to make a significant impact on the outcomes of pupil progress and establish yourself as an ambassador for the department. This position offer attractive day rates, stability and longevity. You will be required to work 5 days a week until the end of the assignment.
