Protocol Education is looking for a talented Level 2 BSL Teaching Assistant to support learners across Gateshead in a full-time position beginning in September.

You'll work with students who rely on British Sign Language to access learning, helping create an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting communication through BSL
• Assisting learners during lessons and activities
• Building confidence and independence
• Encouraging positive engagement with learning
• Travelling between educational settings across Gateshead

We're Looking For

• Level 2 BSL qualification
• Full UK driving licence and access to transport
• Enthusiasm for supporting learners
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
