Protocol Education are looking for learning support assistants/teaching assistants that have experience using British sign language (BSL).
Successful candidates will be required to support and help the development of hearing-impaired students across all ages, support academic studies, develop students social and communication skills in a classroom setting.
The school environment caters to students who have a range of needs, including, autism, SEMH, learning difficulties, and speech and language delay. Therefore, experience in working with children who have special needs is preferred, but not essential.
The Role:
-Working from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, during term times.
-Assisting the children in either small groups or on a 1:1 basis.
-Ensuring you are affectively meeting the children's needs.

-Certified in British Sign language (BSL) level 2 or above.
