Bristol Secondary Product Design Teacher required for September 2016

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a Bristol Secondary School, for an Outstanding Product Design Teacher to start in September 2016. The role will initially run until Christmas 2016, with the potential to run for a whole academic year.

The school is located on the outskirts of Bristol and offeres a supportive, friendly, motivated and ambitious team. The superb behaviour at the school means that pupils are engaged with their learning and that pupils have a history of succeeding.

The ideal candidate will have a Product Design specialism, although this is not essential. However you must have Product Design experience. Additionally, you will need to be driven to succeed in maintaining the school's current attainment levels. You must be enthusiastic about teaching and passionate about your subject, with an in depth understanding and knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum. Great references will strengthen your application. QTS and NQT's are welcome to apply.

You must be a fully qualified teacher, be able to offer 2 references and have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to complete one.

To be successful for this role you must have:

•QTS and eligibility to work within the UK.

•Extensive subject knowledge.

•Strong interpersonal skills.

•Sound behaviour management.

•Fulfilling PPA requirements.
