Protocol Education are looking for daily support to work in our Bristol and South Gloucestershire SEND schools. This working pattern is great if you are working around your studies, have another job to work around, have other personal commitments or want to gain classroom/SEND experience. You have the flexibility to work the days and the hours that you want!
The SEND schools in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire are support children with different needs for example, ASD, SEMH or SLD. Due to the needs and the vulnerability of the children, candidates must be reliable, friendly and have a hands-on attitude. An open-minded approach and resilience are also key factors to working with SEND. Previous experience is not essential but basic knowledge, qualifications or other experience working with children is highly desirable.
The role will consist of supporting the class teacher during the day, working 1:1 or in small groups with the pupils, assisting with planned activities and ensuring the children have positive and fulfilling days.
