Protocol Education is looking for a friendly and reliable Breakfast Club Assistant to support a welcoming primary school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking part-time work within a school environment while making a positive start to children's school days.
The Role
As a Breakfast Club Assistant, you will help create a safe, calm, and enjoyable environment for pupils before the school day begins. You will supervise children, assist with breakfast, and support a range of activities to ensure pupils start their day happy and ready to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising children before the start of the school day
- Supporting with the serving and clearing of breakfast
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
- Engaging children in games, activities, and creative tasks
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
- Working closely with school staff to provide a welcoming environment
Requirements
- Experience working with children in schools, childcare settings, clubs, camps, or similar environments
- A positive, caring, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
