Recruiting Cover Supervisors for schools to work within and local to the BD4 area of Bradford

Are you looking to be a secondary teacher but need experience within a classroom before completing your PGCE or perhaps you are seeking experience within an educational role to ensure teaching is the correct career path for you?

A role in high demand across secondary schools in Bradford as a cover supervisors, at present I am specifically working with the schools within and local to the BD4

Responsibilities of the role:
• Oversee a full class of students, ranging from the ages of Year 7 - Six-form (ages 11- 18 years)
• Mange challenging behaviour
• Effectively adhere to school's behaviour policies
• Set out work and keep students on task
• Responsible for accurate records of student's attendance
• Engage professionally with students - build strong working relationships
• Responsible for classroom equipment and environment.
• Cover lessons across the subjects - not expected to be knowledgeable with all content but have the confidence to deliver set out work.

Requirements of this role:
• Confident, resilient and adaptable individual
• Has strong behaviour management within a classroom
• Ability to use initiative to deal with challenging situations
• Not be phased by high-pressured environments.
• Educated to at least degree level *may be some exceptions
• Holds experience working with young individuals in some capacity - within a secondary school is preferable.
• Be available full time from September 2020
• Need a DBS on the update service - or being willing to apply for one.
