This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Biology specialist to play a key role in the Biology Department of a highly successful independent day school for girls.

You will teach Biology at KS3, GCSE and A-Level, inspiring excellent attainment in the subject and promoting high standards of teaching and learning. The ability to offer Physics to GCSE would be an advantage.

You will be joining a well-equipped department with seven modern laboratories which are supported by three subject-specific laboratory technicians.

The successful candidate will need to be a well-qualified graduate with qualified teacher status, or the equivalent gained through experience. If you have excellent subject knowledge, enthusiasm and the ability to inspire, excite and motivate pupils, we would be delighted to hear from you.

The successful candidate will:
•Be a qualified teacher with QTS
•Have experience of teaching the subject in a previous role
•Have an updated CV
•Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
•Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
•Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
