Protocol Education are looking for teaching assistant who are looking flexible work within a special needs school in Shropshire. As a teaching assistant you will working both one to one and within a class supporting both your peers and students in a positive and engaging environment. Successful candidates will encourage students development, engage through sensory play & interaction, understanding social cues & skills, teaching independent living with students that have a diagnosis of special needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties and severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities. This particular school are looking for teaching assistant that can apply their creative skills within a specialist setting and maintain an engaged and fulfilling learning experience.

Main Duties:
Support students on a one to one basis
Developing numeracy, literacy, life skills and assisting students during work placements
Working with the teacher to assess pupils' levels and ability
Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented
