Job description
FULL TIME - MON - FRI

To mentor at this school you must have a good understanding of social emotional and mental health difficulties and how to implement education and care to young people with this need. You will need to have a positive approach as well as being patient with good behaviour management. It is desirable to have mentoring/support work experience.


A specialist school in Lewisham are looking for several 'Learning Mentors' to work with primary school aged pupils who display challenging behaviour starting in September 2018.


To apply, you must have;

• A minimum of 3 months experience working with children either in a professional or volunteer setting.
• Hard working, persistent and calming personality
• Able to provide 2 references from previous employers
•Can start immediately

We would also like to hear from you if you have experience in any of the following fields; Youth work, sports coaching, army/navy cadets, community work and Pupil referral units.
