Behavioural Support 

Protocol Education is looking to recruit a behavioural support assistant with SEN experience at a primary school in Middlesbrough. The right candidate will have experience of working with children who have special educational needs and behaviours that challenge. The school require the candidate to be reliable and flexible and be prepared to support a child on a 1:1 basis, to help provide routine and structure.  The role as a Teaching Assistant is extremely valuable and key to the overall learning and development of pupils. This positions would suit individuals who are seeking a challenging, fun, and rewarding experience.

The ideal candidate should have the following:

  • Supported pupils one-to-one 
  • Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant or Transferable Skills
  • Experience working with children with behaviours that challenge
  • Monday - Friday, Full time. This is a long term position so must be able to commit
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service
  • References to cover the last 3 years
  • Be a confident person with a warm and friendly approach
  • Able to apply behaviour policies effectively and good de-escalation techniques

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
