Behavioural Specialist - As and when cover (Borough of Harrow)

Protocol Education are looking for a number of Learning Support Assistant with extensive experience in behaviour management that are motivated and be able to promote positive learning and wellbeing. Schools are located in the London Borough of Harrow (North West London), close to public transport links and easy to get to by car.

These schools are looking for LSAs' who can create a nurturing learning environment for children with severe tendencies to be emotionally challenging, who have mental health and behavioural barriers. At times the environment can be challenging but rewarding, so it is essential for you to value the principles of inclusion and be able to aid the children's development to empower their abilities.

Day to day you will focus on supporting individual children on a 1:1 level or in small groups. You will be observing, making assessments and aiding their learning experiences to be creative and enjoyful.

Experience/ skills needed:

- Degree is preferred in subjects such as education, psychology

- Experience in schools and with SEN children is desiradable

- High levels of professionalism

- Ability to be Pro-active and contribute creative ideas to aid learning.
