Job description
Behaviour Support Worker

Protocol Education are currently working with primary schools in the Bradford area, looking for a behaviour support assistant to work with children aged 4-11 years.

You don't have to have worked in a school before but we do ask that you are either a university graduate or have previous experience of working with groups, eg.

  • Sports Coaching
  • Youth support
  • Musical or Drama productions

Do you have a personality that can inspire children to learn?
Can you think on your feet and remain calm whilst dealing with challenging situations?

A Behaviour Mentor is a role that is designed to help pupils with behavioural problems achieve their full potential and work towards closing the gap. If you are passionate about making a difference then this is the role for you!

The ideal candidate will have -

  • Team Teach Training
  • A background as a youth worker
  • Experience working with children
  • Strong behaviour management
  • Ability to work 1-1 or with small groups on specific programmes if required
  • Dedication, motivation and will want to make a difference
