The school benefits from inspirational leadership and has been rated Good' by Ofsted this is due to their dedication to their students as well as a focus on Curriculum enrichment offering breakfast, art, crafts and sports clubs as well as opportunities for pupils to participate in local events and educational trips.

As part of your role you will be taking groups or individual children for targeted interventions and this work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area. Your role will be to promote individual students' progress. You will be working alongside teaching staff to deliver support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. This is a challenging role and the school are looking for people who are up for that challenge!

Ideally you will have experience of dealing with challenging behaviour and have strategies or training to deal with this is a positive way. Experience of working within an educational setting, with children with ASD/SEMH would be beneficial however transferable skills from other employments and backgrounds will be considered.

What you will need is the energy and enjoyment of working with children and the ability to be proactive and multi-task, this is a high energy role where no two days will be the same and for the right person with a can-do and dynamic attitude this is an ideal position where you can make a difference in a rewarding environment.
