Behavioural Support Worker - Team Teach
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who has been Team Teach trained. This is to increase staff confidence by responding to challenging behaviour in a positive way. The position will be focused in Key Stage 2 predominantly with pupils who require positive behaviour support. You will need to act as a role model and mentor to children who are finding the school environment a challenge.
We are looking for someone who can support the classroom teachers with individual and/ or groups of learners. This person should have a good understanding of child development.
You will:
• Be highly motivated, have strong teamwork skills and a 'can do' approach to your work
• Be a strong communicator who is a nurturing, patient and positive individual and can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Have recent experience in a school setting.
