Job description
A school in Tower Hamlets requires a positive role model to work directly with a male year 6 pupil on a one-to-one basis full time for the duration of academic year. Responsibilities involve all aspects of the child's daily routine, including support during meal and play times in addition to the classroom setting.

Applicants must have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
• Experience of working with additional learning needs with a specialism or experience with challenging behaviour and emotional problems, either one to one or in small groups
• A high standard of communication skills with children or adults
• Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn
• A passion for working with children and advocate of inclusive education
• Knowledge and Commitment to child Safeguarding
• The commitment and willingness to stay within the role for the entirety of the school year

Applicants with Team teach or similar CPD training are highly regarded

To be considered for this position you need to
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Provide 2 year's worth of professional or academic references
