Job description
Calling All Teachers Experienced in SEMH

Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge?

This forward thinking specialist school in Durham is looking to recruit an experienced Teacher who is experienced or interested in SEMH, to work with students delivering General Subjects.

This is a genuine opportunity for the right candidate to secure a permanent role after a qualifying period on supply.
The school provides an extremely supportive and friendly environment to work within and this is an exciting role for the right candidate. If you hold a UK recognised Teaching Qualification, have at least six weeks classroom based experience and are available for a minimum of three days a week we want to hear from you!
We are especially interested in CALM or TEAM TEACH qualified candidates
Those candidates who can demonstrate experience in challenging environments are especially encouraged to apply.

Suitable candidates must possess:
-Relevant Qualifications (Applications welcome from NQTs)
-Proven teaching experience
-Strong classroom management skills in line with school behaviour policy
