Job description
Behaviour Support Mentor

Location: Tower Hamlets

Are you experienced in dealing with challenging behaviour? Whether that be in the classroom or within another setting, Protocol are currently working with several schools who require support staff to help them with a range of difficult behaviours.

The post is predominantly one to one based, supporting children with behavioural difficulties within a classroom setting. Applicants possessing specific CPD training such as Team Teach or similar behaviour support training as well as those with experience in PRUs or similar placements are highly regarded. However, you will also be responsible for helping the teacher maintain control of the whole class when required.

The ideal candidate will:

•Have at least 6 months experience in a similar role.
•A genuine interest in making a difference to pupil's lives.
•Great communication skills
•Have DBS (or be willing to undertake one) on the update service.
