  • Do you want to make a difference?
  • Do you love working with children or vulnerable adults and have a passion for special needs?
  • Do you have a social care background?
  • Or even had personal experience supporting SEN or SEMH?

If so, then this is the role for you.

Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant/teaching assistant to join a pupil referral unit in Chelmsford.

You will be joining a great team that predominantly work with children who have social emotional mental health. Therefore, a desire to assist in this area is required, but no experience is necessary!

A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.

This role requires someone who has a strong, robust character as there may be challenges along the way.

A driving license and access to a vehicle is a requirement for this role, due to public transport being difficult to get to this school.

This is a long-term, full-time position so we are looking for candidates to be available 5 days a week between the hours of 8:30am-15:30pm.

If you have a real passion for supporting children with special needs and think this role sounds right for you then please apply now!
