Job description
Have you experience with challenging behaviours? Experience working with children with difficult backgrounds? Want to make a positive difference to child's wellbeing and development?

My client in Newham are currently in need of a strong and passionate behavior support worker to help with challenging behavior within the school. The children they are looking to support are those with social, emotional and mental health issues (SEMH). A lot of these students have a challenging background and are in need of some significant support to help grow their self esteem and confidence.

The school prides itself on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment. They are looking for someone to be committed and enthusiastic in order to establish positive relationships with students and offer support to regulate their feelings. It is incredibly key to maintain high expectations of students to access their learning and ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Protocol Education is a leading supply teaching agency, with several offices located throughout UK. We can provide you with day-to-day work that fits around your schedule, whilst also enabling you to gain a valuable insight in to a variety of different school environments. Or if it's something more long-term that you are seeking, we have exciting positions in schools that are looking for committed teachers to begin in the next academic year (September 2019).
If you are looking to add to your existing set of skills, we offer a number of accredited Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses that further your understanding of the bespoke needs children posses, whilst also equipping you with the knowledge to be more effective in the classroom.
Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding children and therefore requires an up to date DBS or willingness to complete a new DBS. Please note only candidates with the relevant qualifications and legal right to work in the UK will be contacted.

Please refrain from applying if you do not hold the relevant experience. We look forward to hearing from you.
