Job description
I am currently working with a Primary school close to Uxbridge in the West London borough of Hillingdon who are seeking to recruit Behaviour Support Assistants to start ASAP.

This position is offered as a Temp to perm contract for the right candidates, this is a full time position working 8:30-4, however for the right person the school would be open to 4 days a week if you are studying or looking to study.

In this role you will be working 1:1 or in groups with children who have a range of challenging behaviours, you may be working with a child who has Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Social/Emotional/Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The positions are very challenging and no two days will be the same, but if you are looking for a position where you have the opportunity to make a real difference then this is the position for you.

We are looking for people who are calm, confident and have a real passion for working with challenging young people. You will need to be full of energy and enthusiasm and have the ability to build positive relationships with young people as well as create safe boundaries.

Experience working in a similar setting would of course be ideal but we are interested in anyone who has transferable skills for example people who have done youth work, have experience with offenders or have a military background. You may come with experience and strategies for working with children with SEND but whatever your background if you think you have the skills and willing to make a real difference then please apply directly to this job with your CV and letting me know a little bit about you and why you are interested in this type of work.
