Behaviour Support Assistant – Team Teach (Newcastle)
Pay: £89–£108 per day

We’re working with a specialist provision in Newcastle seeking a Team Teach trained Behaviour Support Assistant. This is a hands-on role supporting pupils with additional emotional and behavioural needs—no two days the same, always purposeful.
In this role, you will:
• Support pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis
• Apply Team Teach strategies to manage challenging behaviour positively
• Build trust, consistency, and structure into each pupil’s day
You will need:
• Team Teach training (or willingness to complete it)
• Experience in a SEND, SEMH, or PRU setting
• Resilience, warmth, and a sense of humour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
