Behaviour Support Assistant (Full-Time), Leeds

Start Date: Immediate Start

This is a large primary school academy based in Leeds (LS9) which has been graded as 'Good' by Ofsted. The school are looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Assistant to working closely with pupils in Key Stage 2 (KS2) starting asap. The successful candidate will have a good level of knowledge surrounding SEND and Behaviour and previous experience relevant to the role. We are looking for someone who knows how to best effectively support students, through interventions and building relationships. Key skills we are looking for include being patient and the ability to engage pupils during lessons. 

The desired Behaviour Support Assistant will have;

  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils with complex needs
  • Experience supporting children with SEND
  • An ability to work as part of a dedicated support team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
