Behaviour Support Assistant

 

Do you feel working on a 1:1 basis with pupils with challenging behaviour could be for you? Have you supported children or young people previously? Protocol Education are working in partnership with a south Leeds based school (LS26) who are looking for a kind, calm and caring individual to support a pupil with challenging behaviour.

 

This role is based in Leeds (LS26) and is full time. This role will be working with challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis, with the pupils having Social, Emotional mental health barriers to learning. It will require you to think fast on your feet and have a calm manner about you.

You'll be successful if you have:

  • A Enhanced Child workforce DBS, on the update service - we can support you through the process of applying for one if you do not already have one.
  • Confidence in working with challenging behaviour
  • Enthusiasm and confidence to work in this environment.
  • A clean UK driving License with a access to a vehicle 5 days a week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
