SEN Learning Support Assistant – SEMH PRU

Location: Ferryhill | KS1 & KS2

Protocol Education are recruiting a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in a PRU setting supporting children with SEMH needs.

This role requires someone who is patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting children in a specialist environment.

Your role will include:

• Supporting pupils with additional needs
• Managing challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner
• Assisting with personalised learning plans
• Supporting both academic and emotional development
• Working closely with staff to ensure pupil progress

Requirements:

• Experience with SEMH or willingness to learn
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Resilient and adaptable mindset
• Driving preferred due to accessibility

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
