Working with pupils aged 9–13, this role is centred on early intervention — supporting students at a key developmental stage before they transition to upper secondary education. The school promotes clear routines, strong relationships and restorative approaches to behaviour.

You will play a visible and proactive role in protecting learning time and helping pupils regulate and re-engage.

The Role

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with behavioural or emotional needs

• Support reintegration into lessons following disruption

• Work alongside teachers and pastoral leads to monitor progress

• Contribute to behaviour tracking and support planning

This role requires calm authority and consistency — particularly with pupils navigating the transition between primary and secondary-style expectations.
