Why This School Appeals to Candidates

This is a school with a clear sense of direction. Following a significant period of improvement, leaders have embedded firm but fair behaviour systems that provide clarity for both staff and students. As a result, classrooms are calmer, expectations are understood and staff feel supported.

  • Support pupils in lessons and during unstructured times

  • Use de-escalation strategies to manage challenging situations

  • Work closely with Heads of Year, SENCO and safeguarding leads

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with young people in education, youth work or care settings

  • Confident, calm and consistent approach

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Able to build positive and professional relationships

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
