Job description

Protocol Education is currently on a hunt for specialists who could cater for pupils who have difficulty managing social interactions and expose difficult (sometimes aggressive) behaviour. We are looking for individuals who could help the children recognise and regulate their emotions in order to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.

The roles will require applicants working closely with Teachers, Classroom Teaching Assistants, Inclusion Leaders and parents. You will provide support on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils who have complex behavioural needs.

We are looking for applicants who are ideally available 5 days per week and are available between 8.30am - 4pm Monday to Friday.

You don't need to have previous experience working in the classroom setting. What we're looking for is experience in:
• Youth Work
• Support Environment
• Pupil Referral Unit
• Security/Military/Police
• Outdoor Education
• Relevant qualifications and training:
• Minimum of GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (A - C)
