Behaviour & Pastoral Support Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs?

We're working with welcoming specialist schools in South Shields looking to recruit Behaviour & Pastoral Support Assistants for long-term positions.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Supporting pupils who require additional emotional support.
• Helping children re-engage with education.
• Delivering positive behaviour strategies.
• Supporting classroom routines and transitions.
• Encouraging pupils to achieve both academically and socially.

Experience supporting children with SEMH, Autism or behavioural needs would be highly advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
